Well, like I said, Slumdog Millionaire was beloved by critics. As was Forrest Gump. And many other lauded films.
Sometimes, it's hard for people to look back and say "maybe not so great"
Its also okay for you not to like something without insisting everyone else secretly doesnt like it too. Its genuinely one of my all time favorites and claiming I'd only say that because "its deemed a classic" is insulting.

I'm going to base my "objectively bad" rating of Pluribus on the fact that the character is inconsistently written, among many other flaws. (No, don't tell me "well, she's HUMAN, we're weird!") She's a paper-thin character, as are the others. /1
I don't think it makes sense to say it's "bad." It's not for you, fair enough. I often don't like things the rest of the world seems to rave about (most recently "Fat Ham") but I know it's just my taste, not that it was objectively bad.

I love the music of the 60s but the top 40 charts of 1970s and 71 and even 1972 are really just leftover 1960s stuff
Smoky Robinson, Tears of a Clown? I've always loved Motown. Smoky, Four Tops were my faves. Though before the era of Motown, The Platters did some of my absolute favorite songs. They were brilliant.

Put Trump on TV 24/7
Critics seem divided between “I can’t believe they gave Trump free publicity” and “I’m so glad they exposed who Trump is”.

I understand, but that means it's time for you to subscribe to The Atlantic :)
Thanks, we don’t listen to Trump anymore, it’s all lies. I’d rather have somebody summarizing it afterwards.

This debunking of declinism and the obsessive belief that poverty never gets better is a balm to my soul. "Its psychological appeal is worth scrutinizing. Americans are dour about an economy that is enviable to other countries," writes Idrees Kahloon

It might get me labeled as a Crazy Bluesky Radical, but I don’t think it’s great that our nuclear arsenal is at the disposal of a demented old man who’s just an exposed nerve of grievances and hatreds with absolutely no impulse control.

Trump doesn’t care about policy. He never did.
Again - stop saying the Trump criminals “don’t know” what they’re doing and Trump “doesn’t understand what policies are doing”.

These people have project 2025 advisors who damn well know what they’re doing. Trump is a two-term president.

They understand exactly.

The tragedy of Rob and Michelle’s deaths are incomprehensible.

I’m hearing Rob’s voice telling us all to do more, to repair the human soul, to repair our hearts, to repair our country, to repair our world, to keep fighting, to keep living for every soul taken from this earth.
