A strong bourbon will do it every time. A good old fashioned? 1 is really all you need. MAYBE 2.

3. What’s your go to alcoholic drink that’ll have you or someone folded like a pretzel?

The short-sightedness involved in property insurance fraud (one of the most highly prosecuted types of fraud in this country alongside medical, btw) suggests Eddie was either desperate or incompetent.
mouthyattorney.bsky.social
Crimes of moral turpitude generally result in disbarment because it’s conduct that indicates a lack of fitness to practice. Legal representation is a fiduciary relationship lol
mouthyattorney.bsky.social
It’s simply impossible as an attorney to believe fraud is a good idea. It’s an immediate disbarment, lol.

Dr. Wendy and her husband have like 27 degrees between the two of them, they did not need to do insurance fraud smh

Harvard was the first to say ‘fuck off’ and the rest will follow. Those endowments are longggg long money. Yes, it stinks to have research grant money stop coming in for 3-4 years but those institutions are centuries old. They’ll live 🤣

All these schools can stay solvent longer than trump can stay alive. no should be an easy answer.

I hope someone writes this into the exam in the next decade. “P” a famous musician, sues his peer “D” in federal court… lmao.
mouthyattorney.bsky.social
This case would actually be an amazing bar exam question, lol. Multiple elements of the rule at issue (can lyrics actually qualify as a defamatory statement; public vs. private persons nyt actual malice standard; fault vs, falsity; publication).

You’re also consenting by engaging in a rap beef, lol
mouthyattorney.bsky.social
Actionable defamation between two public figures is incredibly difficult to prove a prima facie case for, but I’d imagine especially amongst rappers because the entire point of beef is to say the most outrageously disrespectful things you can muster 😭.

It’s dismissed bc there’s no way to satisfy it

Drake sitting there reading about how good the judge thought the song was and how everyone really enjoyed it
The song contains lyrics explicitly accusing Drake of being a pedophile, set to a catchy beat and propulsive
bassline. "Not Like Us" went on to become a cultural sensation.

drake, amazingly, still finding brand new ways to lose to kendrick lamar

NEW: Federal judge dismisses Drake's defamation case against Kendrick Lamar storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
The issue in this case is whether "Not Like Us" can reasonably be understood to convey as a factual matter that Drake is a pedophile or that he has engaged in sexual relations with minors. In light of the overall context in which the statements in the Recording were made, the Court holds that it cannot.

I can’t see using the number you provided in conversation. Or even for a real purpose? It seemed like you just decided to slap your keyboard with digits lol
mouthyattorney.bsky.social
First time getting the purple category off the bat in Connections, but it came to me so easily, lol. Being 90s kid helped tremendously I think.
mouthyattorney.bsky.social
I’d use the first digit and then abbreviate the remaining “7-point-eight four gazillion” etc.

For numbers less than 1 million, my previous post applies.

Like, if it was just 796314:

“Seven, ninety-six; three, fourteen”
mouthyattorney.bsky.social
Or if I’m feeling jazzy that last one is just “four point six million”, lol
mouthyattorney.bsky.social
Depends. I usually focus on the first digit(s), then couple or throuple accordingly

460 = four, sixty
4600 = forty-six, hundred
46000 = forty-six, thousand
4600000 = four million, six hundred thousand

When you read long numbers, do you use couples or throuples?

People who chat with God casually like “look, Big G, I need…” interest me because I grew up Methodist and it’s much more formal.

Like “cover your head for Communion”, formal.

I didn’t encounter the non-denominational “jeans in church/come as you are” folk until I was like 25 lol

This entire post is chaotic AF 🤣😭

I be losing it when yall call God names like “Big Sandals” and “Sky Daddy” 😩

We can’t take nothing seriously! 💀

Praying is funny though bc idk yall real names most times so I be going to Big Sandals with your @. Like “Lord I’m asking you to step in and intercede on MsGoodPussy93’s behalf as she goes in for the 3rd round of interviews. Bless her with this job lord and open more opportunities for her. Amen.”
