Every time I ride a Lime scooter I remember that those things are fun as hell.

I’m very excited that Mural Day is back again this year on Lake Street! It’s a free event with guided tours and more of the fabulous new murals that have popped up all along the corridor in the past few years.

Check out the farmers market, and then check out some murals!

Sierra Club endorses Aurin Chowdhury for Minneapolis City Council Ward 12! @aurinmpls.bsky.social
mplsalex.bsky.social
The entirety of my platform is to be kind of annoying online. Rank me second.
mplsalex.bsky.social
Anyways obviously I think you should vote for CM Chowdhury; don’t rank anyone else except me as a write-in.
mplsalex.bsky.social
I can’t even imagine.
mplsalex.bsky.social
Ward 12 has probably the most accessible Councilwoman; someone who is always out in community, easy to reach in person or online, and who is always open to a conversation about how we make our city better for everyone. I can’t imagine a better rep for our community.

Watched exactly one minute of the Ward 12 debate tonight.

I pulled up on my bike at the Moon Palace pickup window the other day, and they immediately opened the window and handed me my book - didn’t even ask name or title or anything. I may buy too many books.

This weekend was record breaking for our mutual aid efforts! On Friday, the team got up bright and early to send home vendors. 6 vendors supported, over $500 worth of food. Saturday, we bought 100 tamales from 2 vendors! All distributed right back into the community. We keep us safe! #BikeChi

I think it’s fun that I got sick two days before a major event I’ve been helping to plan for months. That’s just the best, love this for me.

We could take the B Line!
mplsalex.bsky.social
I’d be in - @jhoudek.bsky.social how about you? We could do the Blue Line from 46th into downtown and bus over.
mplsalex.bsky.social
And I ranked him on my ballot!

It’s a long commute to Ward 12 from the Northside.

I have also run into transit champions like Rep. @katiejonesmpls.bsky.social on the bus before - just doing work while getting from A to B. It’s great to see people using the system they’re advocating for, and working to make it better for all of us.

One of my favorite moments of the 2023 Council election was when @aurinmpls.bsky.social took the bus from South Minneapolis with a group of folks to go vote early! It’s important for our representatives to recognize the benefits of- and challenges - in our transportation system!
mplsalex.bsky.social
I will 100% support any politician who takes transit, bikes, or walks regularly to get around. Be out in community! Don’t just drive through it.

I'm on the slowest bus line in the city with the slowest buses in the nation to talk to New Yorkers about what it would mean for their lives if we made them fast and free.

The threats and hate directed at Temple Israel this week and the fire at Alhikma Islamic Center mosque last week are despicable and have no place in Minneapolis. 1/

This is not okay. Everyone should be standing against the intense islamophobia and anti Somali hate we are seeing in our city. Please speak out and stand against the fomenting of hate. Thanks CP & Senator for taking action.

Tonight a resident posted a picture of racist and Islamaphobic language written on Johnson street that called for @omarfatehmn.com to be deported and wished death upon the Somali community. @doronclark.bsky.social and I showed up right away to get this racist garbage off of our streets

A feel like more robust lights with bigger batteries and larger solar panels could make it through the night. But less daylight + tree cover certainly makes it more challenging. Not to mention once it snows these will be covered.
