Doing much better today. Haven't puked in 24 hours. Have been keeping liquids down and starting to introduce solid foods. Have another 7 hour van ride tomorrow and am not looking forward to it at all.

Got food poisoning on the day of our 11 hour van ride to Arequipa.. You'd think that after throwing up twice, your body would run out of juice, but alas.

Good information on the street is invaluable, but I'll have no handwringing when folks turn out to observe/resist non-ICE actions right now. Other cops have an easy path to not be mistaken for ICE -- wear identifiable uniforms, no masks, and show badges. They can make this stop whenever they want!
