I'm liking welcome to Derry but it suffers from being tied in with IT. if you are a fan of IT everything happening in the show is a distraction and pulls you out. it could have been a standalone show with no connection and would be much more compelling

As someone who is this guy's age I can tell you 100% that if you were into Pixies, Nirvana, 120 Minutes stuff, etc. but didn't like the Beatles you had to have worked hard to contort yourself into that special little box. I think the thing that Mamdani has here that other Dems don't is that he owes no loyalty to the old guard. A lot of Trump's mortal enemies actively tried to stop Mamdani. With a big smile, he beat the Dems that Trump hates and made them sad on TV. That's all Trump cares about.
