SCOOP: Spyware maker NSO Group confirmed to us that the company has been acquired by a U.S. investment group.

NSO's spokesperson said the group "has invested tens of millions of dollars in the company and has acquired controlling ownership," but declined to say who is behind the investment.

You can extinguish tear gas canisters!

Wearing gloves, submerge the canister in a wide-mouthed water jug containing baking soda, dish soap, and/or vegetable oil—3 tablespoons of each per liter of water.

Cover the top with one hand, just enough to keep the gas from getting out, and shake the jug.

I know it’s fake because I tried to follow profiles with millions of followers. It breaks your ability to track users to follow the conversation along and makes it frustrating enough that you wanna quit.

I’ve been getting this error every time I have tried to follow an account for the past 10 or so days that I’ve been speaking a bit more clearly about Israel

Ig error message reading:

“Your request is pending”
“Some accounts prefer to manually review followers even when they’re public. Let us know if you think we made a mistake.”

Then there’s two buttons “ok” and “let us know” pressing either does nothing other than making the message disappear.
