1st, having a *single* Autistic trait doesn’t mean a person is Autistic.

2nd, we recommend you take the RAADS-R test if want larger context.

This is often my answer in polls but a huge release in my limited little musical circle in 1991 & I feel it’s been quietly very influential ever since. Coil - Love’s Secret Domain

The sleeve is psychedelically wild, mostly reds and golds, with a kind of shield crest motif, made up of sperm spouting cocks with angel wings, occult symbols, possibly some kind of hand-of-glory, fluttering banners, one of which says Out of Light Cometh Darkness, a tired-looking skeleton, hand-prints… it’s also possible that the whole thing can also be looked upon as a delirious lion’s head. You feel that quite a lot of lysergical time has been spent staring at this sleeve

The closest comparison is with BLUE VELVET. Out-of-towner(s) return(s) to the Heartland, discovering the rot at the heart of the American Dream. But Lynch has hope for renewal. Hooper has none. TCM is post-apocalyptic, but its protagonists don’t realize that the apocalypse has happened. It’s over.
