Sometimes it surprises me how much vitriol Bluesky and Twitter (no I'm not calling it "the bad place" or "the other app") users have towards each other. I don't think even the tumblr/4chan rivalry compares to it.

I feel Pink Pony Club has been more of a 2024 hit than just crossed over to pop radio this year to make it really stick around. Plus it's technically from 2020 so I don't consider it a new release. I'm curious if the Subway can stabilize soon and maybe have a smaller run for 2026

"The subway" is my personal pick of a song that I expected to be massive and then just fell off after the debut
"The giver" too, to an extent. Frankly, Chappell has had a pretty awful "sophomore slump" of sorts since she blew up in 2024. It's making me worried if she'll stay in the A-list soon
