Sometimes it surprises me how much vitriol Bluesky and Twitter (no I'm not calling it "the bad place" or "the other app") users have towards each other. I don't think even the tumblr/4chan rivalry compares to it.

My parents love 80s synthpop and new wave. Besides that, my mom is a huge fan of the Beatles while my dad enjoys some 70s rock.
They definitely have a huge impact on one side of my music taste, but I've definitely expanded a lot since then with genres and time periods
