I'm headless here because my work (and society) don't let me to. I'm not working in sex industry and in Italy, especially with this government, public image (mine e the one of my employers) is often double tied to form.
Some time ago was reprimanded for a photo in my "locked" Instagram page >>>
It seems democrats are the same in all countries... Trying so hard to appease voters of the right in ways they don't understand, instead just earing their own voters, that they hurt themselves... And all the people, because we know the right just rule for itself...

Even the phone and the PC from which I'm writing...
Shame on them.

Why we talk about Russia, about Gaza, about all dictators and countries, for the same reason. We can't simply look at our neighbourhood (so full of problems, but hei! you can lend a hand to us too if you want) thinking the rest of the world is not a place where we live in... It will be our turn too
People ask me why, as a Canadian, I would involve myself in US Politics. Here's what I tell them:
US citizens are being threatened, abused & killed by their leaders. Once they're all broke, the suffering will be immense.
I believe, as a Canadian neighbour, I have an obligation 1/

That's very mature, absolutely not cringe and surely expected from a POTUS 🙄😒
and another thing: he’s not mad. please don’t put it in the newspaper that he got mad.

Exactly 👏🏻👏🏻
They say that CEOs are paid the big money because they shoulder the responsibility and risk of the big decisions.

When’s the last time CEOs suffered the consequences of their decisions? Even if they get fired, they still get a golden parachute.

I just read that #SCOTUS probably will loosen (even more) the limits on #gerrymandering because this is not something against black people, but to "protect Republican"...

I don't get how this is can be democracy, if there are rules that let parties to favour themselves and not people representation

How unexpected 🙄
(I say this a lot lately)
Trump said his administration will begin cutting programs backed by Democrats as the government shutdown stretches into its ninth day.

“I hate to tell you, but we are cutting Democrat programs,” the president said.

Almost 50 years of Star Wars, WW2 History Channel documentaries and other distopic movies and series and very few people can recognise fascism at work.

I don't mention books because I know many people simply don't read...

Next Monday's "One First" was going to be about how we should stop covering new #SCOTUS terms through the "big" cases the Court will hear; and instead focus on how the Court is behaving.

Fortunately for me (and you), @dahlialithwick.bsky.social and @mjsdc.bsky.social did it first—and *way* better:
The Supreme Court Will Do Four Things This Term That Tell You Everything You Need to Know
In the week before the October 2025 Supreme Court term opens, the impulse among court watchers will again be to do what we always do.

German generals were called to a surprise assembly in Berlin and informed that their previous oath to the Weimer constitution was void and that they would be required to swear a personal oath to the Fuhrer. Most took the new oath. Sounds familiar?
