Now added the Hawthorn Yellow to the edge beading and my friend said it now looks like a “Victorian Sweet Shop” and I can’t be happier with that reaction. Still need to fix the smallest errors with the edges here and there but not bad for someone learning as they go. #woodworking

The UK does a lot of things really stupid, but our home electrics (when installed correctly) allow us to not have to worry about these things.
I mean technically you could daisy-chain extension leads and plug 15 space heaters in. You wont get much heat though, the fuse would trip immediately

I’m now onto the fun final stage of this little project. Was worried about the paint cos of the price of it but yep it was the right choice and once I paint the trim as well it’s going to be a delightful little space if i do say so myself. #woodworking
