Played a bit of Faith in Despair by solodev @muddasheep.bsky.social and i had a blast. The game has novelty in its mechanics, great aesthetic and a free demo up so anyone can check it out.

Mechanics are inspired by Final Fantasy 7's materia system and this adds a few things you never saw in a deckbuilder.
Also the project, promotional artwork aside, was entirely made by him. Music and everything, so it's an impressive solodev indiegame!
