Literary analysis is 100% a lost skill at this point. Finding parallels to experiences you have had, be that mental illness, trauma, etc. in someone else's art or written work and sharing that is NOT the same thing as instituting the artist has had those same experiences.

My job keeps sending out emails saying "we're gonna start permanently deleting the emails in your deleted items folder after 30 days to save storage space", but the joke is on them, because this tactic requires me to have ever deleted an email
