According to a large NHIS survey: higher risk of persistent symptoms + lower recovery odds. Expand access to programs like SNAP could make a real difference.

Vaccine-preventable illnesses can cause serious, long-term harm and increase mortality, chronic conditions, and loss of independence. It’s a risk not worth taking.

Not everyone with #LongCovid has postexertional malaise (PEM) and for that subgroup, tailored rehab can help.
But for those with PEM (25% in this analysis), the evidence is weak, tools are unvalidated, and risks are real.
