And yet so much of higher education leadership went "where do we sign up?"
“A company that promises—however jokily—to do your thinking for you is, not even subtly, also threatening, somewhere down the line, to scoot you off the stage for good.”
What Do Commercials About A.I. Really Promise?

I don't think it's hyperbole to say that the only way to ensure a free and just society for our children and grandchildren is to enact policies as soon as possible that tax billionaires out of existence, removes their influence from politics, and breaks up the companies they've consolidated.

That was three classrooms in one zoom call with no mics working other than mine. But it's really nice to see students. We used chat for questions, and they ask a lot of good ones. 📚🦑

The number of children in ICE detention on a given day has skyrocketed, jumping more than sixfold since the start of the second Trump administration. The Marshall Project analyzed data obtained by the Deportation Data Project and found that ICE held around 170 children on an average day under Trump.

Always entertained when a kid during World Read Aloud Day somehow hears me say that Taylor Swift illustrated the book. I introduce the book as illustrated by Taylor Barron but after that I just say Taylor and this is enough for them to hear Taylor Swift. 😹📚🦑

Happy World Read Aloud Day! #WRAD isn't just for schools -- people of all ages can enjoy picture books, and reading ANY kind of writing aloud is a vastly different experience than reading silently. Don't be afraid to try out some character voices, too!

Our university --- NEW WEBSITE!!!!

Thanks, great. Fine. But I can't find any faculty bios or CVs so I'm having a really hard time tracking down someone to be a local speaker because I can't figure out anyone's area of expertise.
