I want to remind everyone that if I went with my first sketches, I'd be convinced I couldn't draw. I sometimes have those feelings after my first sketches, and then remind myself to do 3-5 versions, pushing and changing the idea. And then bam I remember that it was just First Sketch Syndrome.

I've never had actual insomnia. But when the bad habit of sleeping way too late kept creeping in, we always tried to do allnighters and then sleep normally the next day, and it neverrrrr worked 😩 not even once

I feel like I'm heading towards a much sketchier, cartoony art style with much flatter colors and rough, messy linework. To me it feels like welcome progress. I do wonder if, when comparing it to my very rendered work from years ago, it looks like that to other people too though.
