Heartbreaking. The University of Nebraska will terminate its entire Earth science department.

One of the country's most successful and respected geology & climate programs: gone.

When ideologues & politicians are threatened by the very act of studying climate change, I wonder: who of us is next?
It's over.

Despite the fact that the academic council recommended against it, despite the fact that the program brought in more tuition than it cost, and despite the fact that Nebraskans need & deserve this expertise, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences will be cut.

BREAKING: ‘This hurts’: UNL eliminates 4 programs despite faculty, student pleas
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln eliminates the Earth and atmospheric sciences 8-0, educational administration 7-1, statistics 7-1, textiles, merchandising and fashion design 7-1 programs.

I'm shocked the govt is still trying to deport Georgetown scholar Dr. Suri. ICE abducted him and spirited him to multiple facilities, always in chains. He wasn't allowed to speak with a lawyer for one week! A judge finally ordered him let go after two months. Dr. Suri studies PEACE.

Please help.

If this is what it looks like, this is a live third amendment issue. The third amendment has always been my favorite amendment, but largely because it never came up.
Idk if I'm right. Here's what I think I'm seeing:

Police are using her lawn as a staging area. She wants them off. The say she's obstructing them and they'll arrest her. She keeps repeating that it's her property and she won't let them on it without a warrant.

They stay!
