Apothecary is finally out! It's a 6 track EP, mostly hardcore with a little bit of dnb thrown in, and features incredible artwork of my character by @suzukajan.bsky.social. I am very happy with how it all came together!

I am experiencing really bad burnout and have been for some time. I have decided it is time that I took a proper break and I will be stepping away from music for a while. It will be good for my mental health and give me time to recharge.

I wish Bitwig had a plugin database similar to FL studio's. Collections are okay, but it is not really the same. Also, having a way to make comments/notes about plugins would be nice.

I spotted this on Mastodon and I find it horrible, not least for the speed with which this has happened.
A post on Mastodon by small cypress (@small_cypress@indieweb.social): As an art teacher I was worried AI would come up as an issue of "why should I learn how to draw when I can use AI instead." But the real issue is that my middle schoolers CONSTANTLY believe all art I show them is AI. Digital art. Photography. Oil paintings from the Western canon. "A human couldn't do that" Being convinced that humans can't make great art is kind of terrifying
