I'm with you on this being one of the last still-underrated Boys albums.

Though I suspect apart from maaaaybe 1-2 of the Dennis tracks none of these would get Yachtski certified (cc @hollywoodsteve.bsky.social).

(Dennis's solo Constant Companion is the yachtiest Boys related track I've heard.)

Also note how everyone is milling about casually. These protests are overwhelmingly sedate and, frankly, kinda boring! Media folks like myself have to work really hard to cut together enough "action" to make it look like anything exciting is happening.

Can confirm. The "guillotine" on September 1 was plywood and a paper "blade." It's only threat was giving its makers splinters or papercuts.

If the DOJ argument is to be believed -- that the federal protective service is overstretched and unsustainably exhausted by a handful of nightly demonstrators -- it sure seems like an strong incentive for protestors to keep showing up.
