I've interviewed Sliwa a couple of times and found him to be nothing if not a tremendously affable, and insanely funny guy-who is also one of the great characters NYC has ever created.
This is a surprisingly entertaining and even charming interview. The Journal guy keeps trying to get Sliwa to trash Mamdani and he just won’t.

Looks like a scene from Caddyshack 2. What a disgrace.

I'll never understand why anyone concerns themselves with another person wearing a mask. It's completely inane.
Wrote about how disappointing it is that Jon Stewart punched down on people masking at @motherjones.com, when people should mind their own business and leave mask wearers be. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
Hey Jon Stewart, jokes about wearing masks aren't funny
Critics of the Daily Show host say he's a hypocrite.

Listened to Guaraldi's score all day yesterday, it will never lose its magic.
We might not be able to watch “A Charlie Brown Christmas” around a TV together like we once used to, but we can still listen to its classic soundtrack—that rare artistic artifact that transcends what it was made to accompany, writes Anna Holmes:
The Sound of a 'Charlie Brown' Christmas
Growing up, my holidays were profoundly shaped by the soundtrack to a classic animated special.
