👇🎯💯 This is the inescapable conclusion that <everyone> in 🇺🇸 politics & the entire national media cannot bring themselves to make. There is nothing Trump can do at this point to un-disqualify himself, & there are no laws Congress can pass to fix it.

The <only> mechanism is impeachment & removal.
The inescapable conclusion that neither the NYT nor WaPo editorial board can bring themselves to make is that this administration has to end. Its response to these killings—let alone the killings themselves—is obscene and totally disqualifying.
NYT EDITORIAL BOARD:

“.. When the government kills, it has an obligation to demonstrate that it has acted in the public interest. Instead, the Trump administration is once again engaged in a perversion of justice.”

I don’t think their theory of mind issues stop with their opponents. They have a total lack of mapping for their own marginal supporters
they have no ability to back down and recalibrate AND they lack a theory of mind for their opponents

How many stories have we all heard about a legacy system that's impossible to patch or replace because the developers who wrote it are long gone? Using vibe coding means that is exactly where your organization is *starting* from. An opaque system that no one has deep knowledge of on day one.
Every single attempt to optimize away the understanding part of writing code will introduce bugs that end up taking 10 times longer to find and fix.

The finding part requires first understanding what the code is supposed to be doing, and identifying that it is not doing that.

In Super Mario World, green berries increase the timer. By strategically eating them to make the timer pass 100 multiple times, the music can be sped up repeatedly. It turns out that the music engine cannot handle more than 20 speed-ups, and slows down to a crawl instead.

I'm mildly fascinated by what this means about the corpus of interactions and public writings the chatbot was trained on, and how often this will be the statistical direction the algorithm's randomizer moves.

Imagine a world where too many writers wrote the chosen one hero story arc because children liked the idea of being told that. And then a machine was trained on all those stories and then told “maximize engagement by telling people what they want to hear”

For a literal decade the official CBP policy has been “don’t stand in front of or behind vehicles” because the decade before that their internally commissioned studies found that agents were putting themselves in front of vehicles so as to shoot the occupants
Because he put himself in front of the car to have an excuse to shoot!

Very weird thing about Murc's Law is how when the right behaves badly it can be either be backlash "because liberals went to far" or "the liberals didn't do enough" and sometimes both at once.

I gave a jar of my BBQ sauce to our neighbor, and just this morning he flagged me down to say it was the best he's ever had. Guess I don't get to walk away from this experiment as easily as I thought.
I’ve been making ribs for dinner on Christmas Eve for the past 6 years or so. And try experimenting with the BBQ sauce. This time I tried replacing the ketchup base with an Espagnole sauce made from scratch.
