Yes and no. Splash Damage was stupendously mismanaged. I've never experienced so much wasted energy and efforts at a studio.
Yet another veteran games studio touched by the all-consuming hand of private equity. Two months after the buyout, they're stripped for parts.
Splash damage did a lot of good stuff over the years, and didn't get nearly enough love.
