I could have told them they make wild guesses when they don't know the answer. I once repeadly told one it didn't know the answer to a simple ohm's law problem and that it should stop guessing. It just kept guessing.

On Chiltern lines, they do none of that. They put things in the lost property store at Marylebone and you have to go there to collect it, even if you live in Aylesbury. It's open for about an hour once a week. (I might be exaggerating but it felt like that.)

Personally I think people aren't so much bothered by immigration as about overpopulation. OK so long hospital waiting lists and lack of housing and gridlocked roads are the result of austerity and under-investment, but where would we put all those roads and houses and hospitals if we had the cash?..
