Because enough people believe “I’ve done nothing wrong” will protect them from whatever it is this time they’re prepared to accept/defend.
the weekend’s exploration round Small Down Knoll, Somerset. Not even signposted from the road but actually quite impressive. Great views over the levels and Glastonbury tor, when a bit less grey at least.

It’s the bits that weren’t that seem to crop up in this episode. The cobbled street and hall where the fight breaks out.
The road is obvious enough, but is that the same Hall as well?
Am I just dreaming watching ep4 of the current series of Slow Horses?
Great to hear from Ruby, hope she makes a return in future.
Keep hearing about how here is an echo chamber, dying etc, but it works for me. I follow people like yourself who brighten my day and there’s enough of you to keep me coming back.

Making a rare trip to that London. For a no go, hellscape city it seems rather nice on a warm Friday evening.
Even dogs can’t resist bubble wrap
Just been to the bear tapestry today. Paddington munching on Harold’s leg was the highlight.

I thought of @k8lister.bsky.social and @goingmedieval.bsky.social while viewing the replica, highly impractical, chastity belt on Mt Saint Michel. I hope I tutted correctly in dis-approval
Carnac is the obvious place to go but is a bit soulless. This was pretty much magical in comparison and the walk around is illuminating, the guides help bring everything to life and just wonderful.
Must admit been a long time since we’ve been properly abroad and had a tendency to go round Greek/roman sites. But very much recommend the Menhirs of Monteneuf. Staggering that a site this well done is free to enter #standingstone #menhir

That’s all normal, sounds like an old bee, you know they’ve stung you. You will get stung but it shouldn’t be routine. It can swell and/or itch for a day or two (or nothing) which is totally fine. Reactions let alone full blown allergies are rare.
It’s not the first sting, it’s the ones after that. On the plus side it should be rare to get stung and being allergic rarer still.

Welcome to beekeeping ☺️
