Diving into this one today!
I'm beginning to see the shape of my reading plan for next year. I need to focus on horror(I've bought many more than I've read recently), books in Spanish(old and new), returning to the Victorians, and non-fiction(again,bought many, read almost none) including biographies.Paper books are priority.

After Romulus, Alien Earth, Alien and Aliens, now I start the disappointingly titled Alien 3. It's like they couldn't be bothered. I have to say that, if this film came out today, I wouldn't watch it out of principle, it's such a sausage fest.

It's snowing. We've gone from 14 to 3 degrees in 24 hours(by the school clock next to my house at 6:30 in the morn), and now it's snowing. Someone finally remembered to flip the Winter switch.

Something to learn from sci-fi franchises is that, no matter how far ahead in the future, you'll still be overworked, underpaid, and there will always be a lousy colleague who eats in the lab or forgets to seal the containment field properly.
