Both of Ise's parents are dead. Her mother died when she was two due to illness. She was already a very weak and sickly auri woman as it was, but quite the weaver/seamstress.
Her father died two years later when she was four. When she was younger, she was told by the(1/2)

Ise is very skilled at gathering ingredients being an avid botanist. However, she is not the best cook. She does her best, but let's just say the Scion's have grown wary of any dish she puts before them. The one exception is a small fruit pastry she's perfected over the years.

The Azim Steppe was the best part for me. Ise never got to know much about her Xaela heritage growing up, so being able to explore the Steppe and wonder which tribe she could have hailed from was an experience for her.
