160 e-bikes displacing 100 small electric SUVs w/ social cost of carbon at $190/ton w/ 9242 avoided tons CO2...

you can buy 900 e-bikes for that. or just buy 160 and put the rest into climate mitigation programs.

since denver launched its e-bike rebate program - the have sold 10,000 e-bikes and reduced an estimated 1,000,000 car trips - replacing millions of VMTs and reducing air pollution

It really can't be said enough: the goal of the "anti-woke" movement was always to destroy social norms against bigotry. And it worked. And there's a whole lot of purportedly "left" thinkers & commentators who helped it -- indeed, it couldn't have been done without them.

They should feel bad.

I've come to the conclusion that EPS does not want to charge drivers.
Maybe they know charges won't stick (even something minor like undue care and attention?)
So when someone is killed, they concoct any vaguely plausible explanation, as a justification for why there are no charges.
