One of my fav little bits about Mardi Gras is that I was walking away from the parades last night & saw two people getting bikes who looked familiar, and it was my friends Rachel and Brad. Then I turned around and saw a group of adults wearing rubber duck onesies, and one of them was my friend Roger

I need to read the translations because my Spanish is sadly lacking, but the Bad Bunny halftime show was visually stunning and the whole quality of the production from the dancers to the sets to the camera work to the people in the production truck was insane. 100/10

I know there’s a lot of discourse about ground beads, but friends and I just rescued a bunch before the street cleaners came and gave them to a friend who’s collecting for her Iris ride next weekend. Could there be a krewe of scavengers following the last float?

I might just order some of those Mardi Gras boots with the taps and tassels on them, and then I’ll be insufferable out here tap dancing at these parades.

Happy to report that though the Brothers 3 renovated the women’s bathroom, the addition of a level floor hasn’t made them too fancy for us regular folk.
