I couldn’t find any information about this on the news sites, only on Nola.gov, but you don’t need a prescription anymore to get a COVID-19 vaccine in Louisiana. Spread the word, a lot of people were probably not going to the 💉because of that dumb restriction that was in place.

Her form could use work, but this could be considered a downward-facing dog.

In my brief oak wilt research, I’ve learned that trimming in the summer months is the worst thing you can do, and that’s what my neighbor did with his trees 😟
newscarolyn.com
@lsuagcenter.bsky.social Could this be oak wilt? I worry because I’m seeing the brown spots on multiple trees both in the L9 and Arabi. 😟

Here’s pictures of the tree in the Lower 9th. It’s getting worse by the day. 😔
An oak tree is seen over a street and the oak trees leaves are brown The brown oak tree has a scar running down its trunk.

I emailed the LSU Ag Center last night. I’ll try to find an arborist.

I didn’t, but I can

The tree in the pictures is in Arabi

Not to be an alarmist, but there's a tree on Claiborne Ave in the Lower 9th that I'm pretty sure has oak wilt, and I worry my neighbors’ giant oaks (pictured) might have it too, and that could be super devastating to the canopy should it spread.

I saw it on an ADHD tips and tricks post and thought it was brilliant!

I automated my phone to send me a daily reminder to review my photos taken one year ago, which also reminds me to look back through other years—all to clean up my massive photo library. Turns out I’m no longer interested in keeping a record of that spaghetti I made and photographed back in 2017.

Planned Parenthood was the easiest and fastest way to get my IUD. I was so happy when they moved from Magazine street and got better parking. The loss of Planned Parenthood is the loss of fast, affordable healthcare services and anyone celebrating it's closure is a ghoul.

Abortion has already been banned for 3 years in Louisiana.

This was just a “fuck you” to the poor and to women in our majority female state.

Second trip in a row when I’ve been stuck on the plane because of some tomfoolery here at MSY.

Landed in New Orleans and we’re all stuck on the plane because of technical difficulties with the jet bridge. 🥴

I’m wondering if it's like Disney World and he's required to be in full costume anytime the public can see him. I appreciate the commitment. He hasn't even taken the hat off on the bus.

After an incredible adventure in New England, I’m on the bus heading from Lebanon, NH, to the airport. Just wanted to warn Boston folks that the British are commuting.

Got my 🦠19 vaccination this morning while I’m here visiting Vermont, where you’re not required to have a prescription or whatever BS restrictions they have in Louisiana. 😡

The big maze seemed extremely tough! We passed quite a few parties who looked like they were over it 😂
newscarolyn.com
The maze is a new design every year, and I loved this year’s theme.
A sign showing various designs of the corn maze over the years A picture and map showing this year’s corn maze design - the Battle Unicorn. A Battle Unicorn (rhinoceros) statute in the corn A sign telling why the Battle Unicorn is special - When evil forces of darkness attempt to grow and spread, Battle Unicorns rise up, stand their ground, lift their heads and roar out a mightly sound.
Their power comes from within. Powered by love, caring, empathy and joy, this power projects a bright light for others to follow.
That light reveals that the darkness has no teeth, no claws and no spine.
The only power Darkness has is hoping people have fear but Battle Unicorns face down fear.
Release your Battle Unicorn & brighten the world
