I'm going to say something you will hate me for even more. Even if they were pelting ICE agents, which I know we all fantasize about, that behavior at a parade risks hurting innocent civilians. So yeah, maybe don't do that.

First cops said riders of a Snoopy float were ejected for throwing too hard at federal agents. Then they admitted the opposite - Toth riders hurled bags of Mardi Gras beads at parade-goers with anti-ICE signs.

I will reiterate, having lived on the parade route for many years, I'm inclined to think the witnesses on the ground have a more accurate understanding of what happened. I stand by that.

Decades in local theater and media and film have amounted to nothing because I've been sick for a few years and half my friends are dead. Everyone has forgotten me in that amount of time. Fucking hell.

I’m still seeing people complain about what they didn’t catch at Muses. “How do I explain that to my 9 year old?” Maybe explain to them that they should enjoy the parade? Or take them to a different day of parades if you/they want to bring home piles of plastic crap?

I'm really appalled at Melanie's behavior. I am a Unitarian Universalist, but haven't attended any congregation here for a variety of reasons.
I can tell you that behavior is not exemplary of my experiences with UU Reverends in several states.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
