If you think you can just use the protests to take trump off the house, then build something better, with the current protests, it doesn't work like that.

The protests need a clearer understanding that the constitution isn't good, and the laws are racist by default, to truly succeed.

But I've seen a lot of pictures of the protests, and a lot of people seem to want "America respecting the constitution again", or something along those lines.

I feel like it is important to raise awareness to these people about just how fundamentally corrupt the US is as a country, and do it+

The no kings message is good, but do remember this country was made with conceding things to bad people in its fundamentals.

You can't just uphold the constitution, when the 13th amendment itself allows for slave labor. You need a new one.

I remember when Brasil had similar protests and people partied atop our equivalent of the white house.

The power vacuum left by those protests was used as an opportunity to coup the best president this country ever had.

Protests are good, but be mindful of what messages you raise in them.

There's a lot of people in front of a building with a plate on its roof, and a lot of people on top of the building around said plate.

It's important to distinguish this wave of protests in 2013 with the more recent 2022 invasion of the same building, because even though both involved people using that building, the 2022 "protest" involved people breaking everything in sight and destroying important artifacts of Brasilian history as well as furniture belonging to politicians who were against bolsonaro, while in 2013 they just climbed to the roof and were just vibing and having a good time peacefully.

I struggle to see these protests as the ultimate solution to the US problem right now, even if I do‎ recognize its importance as a piece of the puzzle to overthrow fascism.

I just don't think people have the exact mindset they should when going to these protests.
