Fun Fact: Kenyan McDuffie had to drop out of the 2022 DC AG race because he is not a practicing lawyer and thus was ineligible. DC, do you really want a mayor who isn’t even aware of basic procedural guidelines?
What do we think?

I think Democrats should double down on trans rights now. It's obvious that most voters don't care about it so you might as well stick with your principles and goad Republicans into focusing on it at the expense of everything else so they're the ones who look like freaks.

Remember that time New York elected a Muslim mayor and MAGA shit their pants saying Sharia law was coming to NYC, and then like a week later Trump gave F-35's to Saudi Arabia, the capital of Wahabbi fundamentalist Islam, where 17 of 19 9/11 hijackers were citizens? Just to open Trump Tower Riyadh?

When I saw one R voted against releasing the Epstein files, I told my dad it had to be Clay Higgins. Higgins is the epitome of a trash bag of a human being. He pointed a gun at his first wife during an argument; she later died in a “car accident”. He owed his 2nd wife over 100k in child support

Will be interesting to see if the Epstein files release bill passes by a veto proof margin in both chambers. Genuinely, it should be a really easy vote. Imagine being up for reelection and voting against the release. Your opponent can just run ads being like “they voted to cover up pedophilia.”

Far-right GOP Rep. Andy Biggs says that he’s willing to break ranks with the White House and pry open one of the ugliest files in Washington.

Biggs said he plans to vote to release government files on convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, putting him at direct odds with Donald Trump.

Oh, it's bad. Really bad for Donald Trump, but a win for the victims as they get closer to get some level of justice. It's also really bad for the NY Times. A paper that hammered Hillary Clinton and others when they ignored what their own reporters were doing.

My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far
