That's the tricky part - low is when you profit most from buying, but then you also get nervous about it going lower and losing money. The best advice is usually to buy and hold for a preset amount of time. I'm confident in Rivian and have no present plans on selling, only buying lows and holding.

I get the sense that it's clear to the majority of Rivian's supporters that the R2 is a make or break moment for Rivian. I just think that confidence in the company's ability to pull it off is high.

2. ... In a planned move during new vehicle ramp up - 100% made harder by Taco
3. I 100% agree. I just don't link them with Rivian and their CEO.

If we vilify companies by their investors, that eliminates many good ones.

2. Rivian laid off 200 workers on their commercial fleet as part of their continuing effort to increase operational efficiency and working toward becoming more profitable/survive as they grow as a company

I disagree. It does do a company favors by choosing a market/image and sticking with it. It helps them to stand out among the many other more established brands, and generate a passionate customer base to help more quickly develop brand confidence.

That may be, but it's irrelevant to the topic at hand. Someone interested in the R2 likely may not be as interested in the BMW. They are very different types of vehicles.

Looks great and that charging architecture is great, but it's far from the aesthetic and use-case design of the R2. The BMW (as would be expected) is very "luxury sport" - not a hint of "adventure-ready".

You said you would have to buy an expensive truck. I was stating you could most likely tow a 16ft Airstream with a vehicle you already have, and still have thousands of pounds of leeway in your tow rating.
