Guillermo del Toro and Netflix have announced plans to form a new stop motion studio that will be both a studio and a school to push the medium forward and will develop plans to make Del Toro's next stop motion project after Pinocchio. I'm very hyped to see what this leads to!

I propose: hotel cats, like bodega cats but they live in hotels. You can then choose a room with or without a cat (or cat free for those allergic). If you choose a room with a cat you get a room with a cat who might share snuggles with you while you're there on holiday or that drab business trip.

In case it needs restating, autism isn't caused by Tylenol, or vaccines, or woke parents or whatever. It's not a disease, and it doesn't need curing. Eugenicists and fascists love to think of ways to eradicate us because they are unwilling to understand us. But we will outlive them.

Whether they're blaming vaccines and Tylenol, or selling dubious "remedies," what they're really doing is promoting the perception that families (and especially mothers) can prevent and treat Autism. And thus also the perception that people with Autism and their families don't need social support.

A customer just came into the shop and bought 12 books for her friend’s birthday. She’s going to wrap them individually and write a different month of the year on each one, so her friend has a new book to read every month until her next birthday. And I think that’s just the most thoughtful gift.
