I’m at Yume Japanese Arcade in Toronto, playing some rhythm games.

Big fan of WACCA, Chunithm, and Sound Voltex (SDVX)

One day I’ll be good enough to tackle level 8 and above confidently in SDVX. It’s tough though 🥲

Very fun game 😊

Basketball? I don’t really watch it much. That’s the one with Kawaii Leonard or something right?

We need to make it socially unacceptable to wear meta glasses. Bully anyone who wears them in public, smash them when you see them.

Welcome to the international coalition of meta glasses smashers. 🤝
If these make it to Scotland and I see someone wearing them and looking at me, I will do my best to smash them. I'm not even kidding. If you point a camera at me and try to acquire personal information without my consent, stopping you is an act of self defence.
this is comically evil. brazenly anti-social. just absolute black-pilled nihilism. we will not have a republic, we will not be free, until we regulate these companies to the point where — at a bare minimum — they're too afraid to put stuff like this down on paper.

When a sitting representative refers to the Super Bowl halftime show as “pornography,” people should use that to reflect on how they and other representatives are simultaneously working to ban, censor, and restrict “pornography” and what that actually means

It's so wild that we live in a world where the response to "teenagers don't like genocide" is politicians pushing "let's stop teenagers from using the internet" so hard that Discord has opted to shoot its own foot off

Happy Black History Month! It’s a time for learning, listening and reflecting on history.

And don’t forget to look out for Black History Moth, and be sure to give them a wave as they flutter by, spreading knowledge and joy as only a moth can. 🙂

I saw 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple last night with a good buddy who I don’t get to see all that often. We’d checked out the first part over the summer and really enjoyed it.

Part 2 is such an interesting follow up. We both really enjoyed it, though I prefer the emotional arc of the first part.

Finished the first season, it was great!

Although I dunno how I feel about a Naruto selection exam arc that introduces a host of characters that take up a bunch of screen time.

Ultimately it was fine, and enriches the world a bit, but I still prefer the core party and Frieren herself 😌
Been slowly making my way through Frieren, Stark just joined the party a couple of episodes ago.

This series occupies a very unique emotional space, and the pacing of it fits so naturally with Frieren’s perception of time.

It’s a delightful show.

Store clerk who’s too busy taking inventory to address the line up of people at the cash register, who also uses too much cringe fictional jargon:
Cool your frakking circuits, everypony. I’ll be with you in a clock tick.

Not to get political, but America is very pretty and has a lot of nice folks making cool things, and I think if we had a president who wasn’t actively trying to murder us, we could have a pretty good time
