I was pleasantly surprised that a recent episode of CBC's Ideas "So .... Who wants a pipeline" asked which IPCC scenario / global temperature they were aiming for. Jackie Forrest said 2.6C. I wish all stakeholders, politicians and yes, citizens were asked that question. www.cbc.ca/listen/live-...

Can someone please tell me why no media are asking about the NW pipeline within the context of a climate crisis? Did we all just throw the reality out the window because Trump did? It's infuriating that the line of questioning is back to nationally skewed polling and bullshit economics. Ugh #bcpoli

Mount Polley will be allowed to continue expanding its tailings facility, after a court challenge by the Xatśūll First Nation failed.

The nation said it's reviewing the decision to allow the dam, which failed catastrophically in 2014, to hold more mine waste. @thetyee.ca
