They only have around 3500 respondents globally. Only a fraction of those are US respondents.

Its gonna be hard, and somewhat bad practice to draw additional conclusions from a data set that small.

A chart of "Major concerns of PhD candidates." The top text says, "Financial pressures top the list of concerns faced by PhD candidates, but concerns differ among the sexes. Those studying in the United States rank the political landscape as their main worry." The chart shows that in the full survey, political landscape is the biggest concern for about 20% of students (a bit higher for women than men) but there's an annotation saying "In US PhD students, this rose to 64%". Overall, the highest-rated concern was financial pressures at around 40%.

My #1 tip for generating word of mouth is to create word of mouth for other people first.

Teach yourself how to market by marketing your friends' books first!

You'll gain essential practice, generate community goodwill, make author friends to help with the writing process, and it pays dividends.

Although, Only Ever Yours doesn't construct good worldbuilding, so much as justify the lack thereof, while providing enough implications to still establish a sense of what this society is like--with a more realistic vision, at that.

Hunger games is the only one I don't wonder how they get food.

I've seen those books but I've never read them.

The only good worldbuilding I've seen in this genre is Only Ever Yours by Louis O'Neil and, well, the Hunger Games.

And that one only by comparison

I mean, all of the really noteworthy struggles have been with Unreal Engine 5.

Star Wars Outlaws runs fine, Resident Evil Requiem looks really impressive, and Cyberpunk has been praised to death.

And even Cronos, another unreal game, runs fine on Switch 2. More cutbacks, but the game holds up.
