Up to 2 years in prison for saying “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” - that’s the legislation currently before Queensland Parliament under the Crisafulli government. They’re going to have to build more prisons before we choose to be silent about genocide.

The language of “social cohesion” was never neutral. It was a calculated, callous move to silence dissent on Palestine. You can keep it. Decent Australians demand justice, international law upheld, and an end to our complicity with a rogue apartheid state committing genocide.

So apparently soon I could face up to TWO YEARS in jail for political art that says “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” if someone "takes offence". This is what Crisafulli is proposing in QLD. Acceptable speech is narrowing in real time. And it's fckn terrifying.

I first illustrated this as the onslaught in Gaza was escalating and honestly I wish it felt dated, but it doesn’t. The world is being run by a small group of psychopathic genocidal pedophiles, and it feels like we can't do anything about it. The entire system needs to burn.

In the last few yrs, I've had the opportunity to reconnect with my childhood piano teacher, Norma (or "Nornie"). Yesterday I had the joy of celebrating her 90th with her. Such a gracious, encouraging, patient, truly fabulous woman - someone who certainly helped foster my love for creativity 🎹🫶

This one hurts. The whimsical, hilarious, wildly talented, Catherine O'Hara. I always thought she had the sparkliest eyes - and genuinely made me feel safe watching her on my tv as a child. Thank you for your unique brilliance and the infectious joy you brought to this world 🤍

A woman visited my store this week and expressed her dismay at how increasingly hostile and cruel the world has become. She turned and said she loves that my tees can act as a small, gentle signal to others - that you care, that you’re paying attention, that no one is alone. I love that 🥺
