The quilt top is done and I’m liking it more. I chose the mottled green that is in the blocks as the border. It’s hard to photograph but it has turquoise, green, gold, rust and brown in it.
The binding will be the dark brown. I think it reminds me of southwest desert evening colors.

I've only seen the first ep - watched last night. Don't watch the 'normal' Traitors - cba to commit that much time to people I don't know / care about who are being manipulated by the show, the edit, etc - manipulated along with the viewers. But the sleb version? I liked what I saw - so far...

Sunken lane between fields at the edge of Bocage country, Normandie. There are hedges on either side; the leaf colours are changing and beginning to fall to the ground. There's a light portal between universes on the path in the distance.

There just isn't enough money available to make it work. The defunding of all care - child, vulnerable adults, the elderly frail - has been going on for several decades (at least) and imo it's too far gone to rescue.

The continued warm weather is keeping the butterflies flying. Yesterday, I saw a couple of Peacocks, a Red Admiral, some white ones (! - couldn't get close enough to identify) and a very flitty yellow butterfly - a clouded yellow I think. Also this hairy little Speckled Wood. ❤️ #InsectThursday
