I'm glad the killing has stopped but the media playing along with the man who green-lit massacre conditions as the "peacemaker" is a bit bizarre.

Add in his really uncomfortable answers on the future of Gaza = only a temporary blip in the headlines and it's down right surreal.

That post is omitting a lot. It was a group of Protestants who blamed almost every sin, crime, and abuse of politics on alcohol. While domestic abuse was absolutely among the claims, the real events were quite different than the selective version being presented.

Someone wrote an article suggesting that her career had maxed out as Trump's lapdog, especially after Trump wouldn't endorse her to run for senate.

So, she's turning to being 'the real populist/Am 1st leader'. That does fit with her positions.

I would have more hope if our side (pols and the base) started responding like we understood and learned from the guidebook we were handed.
Maybe fight them as hard for democracy as we fought for Jimmy Kimmel.
