he looks like he’s about to tell Dave Dombrowski that time is a flat circle

The year is 2072. Darkness blots out the sun. It’s November and a crisp 92 degrees in NYC. José Ramirez just place 3rd in the AL MVP race, extending his record to 29 third place finishes.

You could argue Sánchez had a better season than Skenes straight up, so the unanimous vote is kinda puzzling to me.

teaching myself python for professional reasons (always used R) and thought the best way would be recreating my previous work and somehow I ended up accidentally making a version of SEAGER less biased by hitters’ intrinsic raw power? lmao

Can’t lie, I kinda love that Snell did that.

The twins have been placed in an incredibly strong position to grab a ton of talent by dealing one or both of their hi lev arms now.

Woke up thinking about Cris Sánchez’s changeup

Will Benson reminds me so much of what Jo Adell was ~2ish seasons ago.

McGreevy was so close to pure zero true outcome greatness

Pretty funny how the schedule lineup up to give Dave Dombrowski an up close look at all the available outfielders 2 weeks before the deadline. Adell/Ward/Duran already had their turn and Luis Robert will get his shot next week.

stating the obvious here but whew, the Phillies are such a different team when Bryce (and Schwarber) is hitting them out rather than hitting singles or gap doubles

Taylor Ward and Jo Adell destroying baseballs but it’s against my local 9. I’ve won but at what cost

I miss the all star break

The Marlins are going to be next season’s “I think they could make a surprise WC run” pick like the A’s were this year, aren’t they

Is this enough to put Cal Raleigh on the Mt Rushmore of donks? J-Lo, Big Dumper, Charles Barkley, Eden Hazard.

Mike Elias’ steadfast refusal to use any kind of resources on pitchers is a good bit at this point.

I’m happy that they’re still trying to make the most of the Bo+Vlad era, but this Jays offseason is all just a little too Arte Moreno for me

and somehow they’ll still end up starting Michael Grove in a must win game of the NLCS

Potential Los Angeles Dodgers rotation in 2025:

Shohei Ohtani
Blake Snell
Yoshinobu Yamamoto
Tyler Glasnow
Roki Sasaki

In a sport with fewer and fewer frontline starting pitchers, the Dodgers have five with No. 1-type stuff and performance. An absolutely absurd array of talent.

(I think I think the Marlins will be worse than the White Sox this year)
