I have created a Gift list of Books for my Nephew’s Cancer Battle if anyone wants to donate. I will be adding more based in recommendations. Would love to create a library for kids fighting cancer. Book’s For Henry - Amazon Gift List - www.amazon.com/registries/g...
Last nights horror movie was The Covent. I mean, I love a good haunted nunnery movie. This one kept me interested but overall wasn’t my favorite. Props for a quick cameo by Michael Ironside.

So the word on the street is the new Talisman novel is called Other Worlds than These. I’m excited about the book. Mixed feelings about the title despite the fact that I have those words tattooed on me.

I ordered a 2 and a 6 candle for Benjamin’s birthday today and the 2 came in but the 6 may not arrive until 8 so Ben may be celebrating his 2nd Birthday instead of his 26th.

My stepdaughter texted me and asked me what Stephen King books I would recommend. I may have gone a bit overboard in my reply. I was wearing the perfect shirt for the occasion. @katet19.bsky.social

I for one will not be watching Bad Bunny’s Half Time show. Mostly because I won’t be watching the Super Bowl.

I will be tuning in the the alternative programming.

The Puppy Bowl.

We’ve been watching The Copenhagen Test and everytime we see Adina Porter show up in any show my wife yells out, “Oh, it’s Tara’s mom!”

I feel like @richardkadrey.bsky.social needs this.
i've been assembling a science fiction and fantasy magazine library for almost 20 years and this is one of the creepier covers i've found

Best parts of the Grammy’s (which I didn’t watch) was when our 15 year old daughter opened her door and yelled “Billie won!” slammed her door then opened it a minute later and yelled, “And she said FUCK ICE!”

It’s now that time of year when I complain about our annual Lifesharing Inspecting by Pennsylvania ODP and the anxiety that comes with it. I don’t like having friends to my house, but government inspectors who absolutely have to fine at least one thing seriously wrong with your house is even worse.

Unpopular Opinion: If students are not allowed to have phones in school because they are distractions then school staff and teachers shouldn’t either.

The bipartisan "Bell-to-Bell" bill bars students from using their phones any time they're in school, not just during instructional periods.

I read a comment on a thread asking for Stephen King recommendations where someone basically said, “Why would you read Stephen King? Entertainment should be hard, the reward is greater.”

Entertainment should be hard. It should be entertaining. Fuck that noise.

Happy 2/2 day to all you dance dads out there. Imagine living in a world where you were happily oblivious to the existence of things like toe undies and butt glue. Imagine not knowing there are 322 different version of Everybody Want to Rule the World.

Seems the MAGA faithful are all up and arms because Ketanji Jackson Brown *checks notes* laughed and applauded and now is incapable of being impartial and must be impeached based on her constitutional violation of 28 U.S.C. § 455. I don’t think they know what recusal means.

I’ve decided against setting a reading goal this year. Last year I hit 100 and that was much more than I thought I would. Yet last year I read a lot of audiobooks in the 7-9 hour range. This year I’ve already reread It and almost done The Tommyknockers and completed 4 books in January.

Almost done with The Tommyknockers. Still not a huge fan of the book but I do get why some SK fans are so protective of it. The audiobook was definitely well narrated, although it was hard not to see Laura Gilmore’s dad as Gard.

If you watched The Severed Sun.

Definitely a lot of plot holes but kept my interest. My wife and I were trying to figure out the time period. I tend to believe it was post apocalyptic near-future, my wife seemed to believe they were a modern but isolated cult. Any thoughts?

Movies my wife and I watched this weekend.

The Severed Sun
Whisper of the Witch
Row 19.

Tonight I think we are watching Bugonia.

So, my step-daughter loves Hamilton and my deal is she gets to listen to her playlist once a week on the way home from her ballet private session. There is one song on her playlist that I absolutely hate. Makes me angry when it comes on. Would it be wrong to just delete that song?

I absolutely love this. Her work is amazing.

Share around as much as you want. I'm tired of being expected to give the regime any dignity or humanity when they make laws against us, kidnap us, beat the shit out of us, murder us in the street.

I mean, I’ve been blocked for my politics, my thoughts on movies and books and for calling Patrick Tomlinson a mysogynistic asshat who plays progressive to mine engagement but that’s the only time I got blocked for being pro-hot dog as a sandwhich.
February 2, 2026 at 12:28 AM
The weirdest social media block I ever got was when a coworker, who was friends with another of my coworkers, blocked me because I stubbornly wouldn’t back of my “hot dogs are sandwhiches” stance despite his illogical yet passionate arguements.

Picked up a new book today. First book by this author but hoping for some good sibling vibes. I love my brothers!
