The agents that killed Alex Pretti have been serving for 8 and 12 years. I find it highly unlikely all the politicians pushing for training reform don't know these facts. The purpose of a system is what it does and the politicians like that system, they just can't say it publicly.

No need to imagine. The country incarcerates children as young as 9 years old daily in youth prisons and jails. Those children are routinely sexually and physically assaulted and also emotionally tortured. They are fed terrible food and given barely any education. This country has done this for yrs.

I have had the opinion that we need the reverse of this. Stop taking animation and making it live action. It always sucks, especially when you get a lineup of bad actors. Instead, take live action and animate it. Animation is cool! Let animators do cool shit! Pay them!

The word "untrained" needs to stop being said when talking about ICE. That gives an avenue to escape responsibility. All of them are adults who made the conscious decision that shooting their fellow citizens is good and acceptable. You don't need training to know not to do that.
