Parking section of the CA Forever Specific Plan is interesting...No parking maximums for housing and plans for parking garages to be within a 1/2 mile or less of every home, with upwards of 114k parking spaces planned across at least 54 parking garages. Not really incentivizing transit use here...

Rare new construction condos listed for sale in Oakland. I wonder what led the developer to list as condos instead of rentals… My guess is that the risk from condo defect laws was outweighed by low rental prices.

Im hearing the administration is discombobulated at the moment… for example- veto messages stating a bill would duplicative of existing policy when said policy was only in draft form and never formally shared.

It would be a *disaster*, substantively & for Newsom's political future. Really hope he doesn't self-immolate.
