Apropos Südamerika, jetzt wo die Schokoladenpreise in absurde Höhen steigen, gebt den Mehrpreis wenigstens an Firmen, die Fair Trade machen, damit zumindest ein Bruchteil auch bei den Menschen ankommt, die eure Luxusgüter täglich anbauen und ernten.

Interessant wie mal wieder aus deutscher Seite die erste Kritik an Machado kommt. Ich hab dazu noch keine Meinung weil ich zu wenig über die Situation in Venezuela weiß - aber ich weiß sehr gut wie gerne der weißen Westen die Probleme in Südamerika an seinen Standards misst.

Die Treppenflure in der Kurklinik sind teils mit Netzen überspannt. Das Kind fragt warum. Ich sage damit nichts runterfallen kann. Für die Wahrheit ist es doch noch etwas zu klein.

He said Israel had killed 20,000 Hamas terrorists

This week we learn:

18,457 children confirmed dead

55,000 children acutely malnourished

So a war on children as much as a war on Hamas.
