I do sort of think this is a sign of the end of the AI bubble. They were happy to lie through their teeth about what happened but there was no ai-generated video “evidence” to counter the real videos. You know they absolutely would have used it if it had been at all plausible.
the true danger of AI is all these systems are being used by dummies who were raised on police procedural TV shows

Firefox seems to have removed the spellcheck menu and replaced it with a suite of AI tools to rewrite your words instead. A sad day for those of us who are still (mostly) literate.

This morning I’m sending yet another message to Unity support because their license server is broken. I’ve been enjoying godot a lot in my side projects and honestly can’t wait for it to become the new industry standard.
Many months in and I’m an annoyingly big Godot fan. Just a lovely tool, smartly produced and maintained. Excited to see what the next few years hold for it, and happy to be a part of that community. Looking forward to shipping something built with it.

Genuinely thought this was some Italo Calvino quote
In Mr Beast’s new video, a woman is alone for two weeks on a platform in the sky. and each day, a balloon is released at an inopportune moment for her. And if she fails to shoot the balloon with an arrow, they take a small portion of the platform that is her home

So why does Steam have it's own language setting seperate from the system language? Purely to wind up developers by adding yet another special setting for them to implement?

“This is a hegemony of American prudishness, applied globally, incoherently, unevenly, and unseriously.”

Great article on the treatment of Horses by Gabe & Co. and why it’s such an immature and damaging stance for the medium.
Despite the controversy, Horses is only shocking if you're unfamiliar with the history movies, theater, literature, or basically any art form that does not have stats. aftermath.site/horses-indie-g...
Horses Is Tame
Horses, the indie game that is too scandalous for either Valve or Epic, is only beyond the pale if you're not familiar with any other art form.

I love paying nearly 10% of my income to a company that at turns: ignores my requests for help, harasses me and accuses me of not paying them, wastes days or weeks of my time leaving me unable to earn a living. Oh no wait, that's it: I hope they go bankrupt.
