I am very proud of my step daughters ( Janet and Mary ), and their two childhood friends Ayden and Jessica. Their cult teen band from 2000 has gained some notoriety for the re-release of their group's album "X-Cetra" and subsequent article in Rolling Stone.

The one problem was they needed music to go with the girls' lyrics. Enter Achim Treu, a German composer who was friends with Robin and her husband Don. They used his dark, lofi synth scores on what would become 'Stardust,' X-Cetra's only album

Eventually they found their way to songwriting. Luckily, Robin O'Brien, mother of Janet and Mary, had made a name for herself in the home taping scene and had turned a guest room into a studio where she helped the girls' vision come to life
