The Trump regime hides behind a veneer of "law and order" to justify their power grabs and violent cruelty, but the law means nothing to them the moment it becomes inconvenient.
Courts have ruled 4,400 times that ICE jailed people illegally. It hasn’t stopped.
The decisions amount to a huge legal rebuke, but the administration has continued jailing people indefinitely.

BREAKING: We now have a good idea of why Trump rushed to contact PBPD—one of the first to do so—when he learned Epstein was under investigation in 2007. It was a CYA; per his pal Lutnick, it was widely believed Epstein had blackmail on men he'd been hanging out with.
Trump's commerce secretary calls Jeffrey Epstein the 'greatest blackmailer'
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told an interviewer he found Jeffrey Epstein, his next-door neighbor, "gross" when they first met in 2005.

The SAVE Act is the most dangerous attempt at voter suppression in generations.
Folks are taking comfort in it likely never clearing the Senate filibuster.

Don't.

Republicans can make another attempt by trying to attach it to a spending bill

I and millions of Americans believe exactly the same thing Kasparov does.

Too many troops, too many new prisons, too much money not under Congressional supervision.

We're not just witnessing a mass deportation scheme anymore.

This is something significantly bigger and scarier.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

"My party tries to protect pedophiles, bankrupt the country, and start wars a lot. I vote with them 91% of the time."

I appreciate a lot of what Massie is doing lately, but it's legitimately funny that he still thinks this is something to brag about.
Massie: "I vote with the president 91% of the time. The 9% of the time my party is taking for pedophiles, bankrupting this country, or starting another war, I don't vote with them. And they want 100% compliance. That's why they're trying to take me out."

Bondi crashes out over Epstein: "The Dow is over 50,000 dollars! I don't know why you're laughing. You're a great stock trader as I hear, Raskin. The Dow is over 50,000 right now. The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. That's what we should be talking about."
