Democrats Who Voted to Keep Funding ICE Scramble to Backtrack

Just remember, Minnesotans, a firearms permit allows you to openly carry a long gun/shotgun. This includes the city of Minneapolis, with certain restrictions (schools, hospitals) of course. Unfortunately, it's time to know your rights in your state.

Tomorrow, the Democratic Party of Evanston members will vote to endorse candidates.

Unfortunately, the DPOE misrepresented us on the ballot, didn’t tell us, and still has not issued a formal correction.

So we’re doing it ourselves:

We’ve covered lots of losing local teams on the back page of this paper.

But none with a record as bad as the Chicago DOJ during Operation Midway Blitz:

0 convictions

11 charges dropped

3 no-billed cases

1 jury acquittal

No pictures of the deer this morning; just the forest in the morning (yesterday). This morning, the temp was -11. I didn't want to disturb them.

Just wondering how many people have had to go to the ER, take time off from work tolo recuperate, and see a physical therapist after their first Kavenaugh stop.

My father owned a small sawmill and logging operation. As a child, I'd cherish the time spent with him surveying leased timber plots. This is why.

We have a small nature preserve in my town and I walk there almost every morning. This is why.

Pondering the mid-terms and 2028: Trump won Michigan by a slim margin, and though Michigan still has a ban on paid transport, Dems - if they're smart, will start organizing volunteer transportation for the smaller cities.
January 22, 2026 at 2:33 AM
It may sound drastic...but any Dem that votes to fund DHS tomorow deserves a fucking kick in the teeth. Expulsion would be warranted, but we know how things work in the blue heeled social club. Bunch of spineless fucksticks. Barney Fife had more fight.

So Donald Trump takes jabs at the EU, at Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Norway. What kind of an imbecile picks a fight with Vikings?

KNOW THE DIFFERENCE: Minnesota National Guard under Gov Walz's command will not be wearing facemasks and will have reflective vests on. This will distinguish them from the people cosplaying for ICE/CBP/DHS.

Take heart.
BREAKING: Dan Ceisler, the new sheriff of Pennsylvania's Bucks County, just announced he has terminated his county's 287(g) contract with ICE.

Ceisler defeated GOP sheriff who'd joined the ICE program in November, & ran on quitting it; we reported then:
Voters Ousted This Pennsylvania Sheriff After He Signed Up to Collaborate With ICE - Bolts
A populous, swing county replaced its GOP sheriff on Tuesday after months of controversy over his joining ICE’s 287(g) program. The Democratic winner promises he’ll end the contract.

I don't much like the title, but the is article very much worth reading.

On organization and cooperation going on in and between blue states, to make federal intervention of many kinds unnecessary.

Blue states are finally learning what red states have known all along: you don’t need federal permission to govern.

Funny that Vance didn't try to convince Little Marco that Venezuela had a secret nuke program. Other than that, this is Iraq Part Deux.

The Venezuelan people are really fucked now. Going to Trump running things is a serious downgrade.
