Idk if anyone is looking to rehome a cat, but Pawpurrs cat sanctuary in Wigan desperately needs to get cats adopted, like urgently. 96 cats all under the care of a single person + volunteers and I'm really worried she's taking on too many to handle.

I spent a year working at my dining room table on a laptop sitting on a wooden chair. I've never recovered!

I sat in a Herman Miller office chair once. I don't remember which model it was, but I didn't want to ever get up.

Worst chairs ever were sitting on primary school chairs designed for eight year olds for two hours after school once a month for mandatory staff training. Ouch.

I've had a ridiculously busy August doing Stuff For Other People that involved Interaction With Strangers. Which means I don't have the bandwidth to interact with People I Actually Like.

Eleven more days of People Stuff, then I'm free to reset The Brain.

Hospital run for a friend again today - so begins the how long waiting for blood tests this time game!!!

Fortunately, it's a quick pin prick test and the hospital is local. Two hour wait the first time, five minutes the second time!

Thanks! They were really good with all the physical tests - blood tests, BP, heart eval etc and it picked up a thyroid issue (now on thyroxine) so I'm hopeful!

Hoping GP will accept shared care - they couldn't give me a definitive answer before diagnosis, but as soon as the meds are titrated we'll try again.

My eldest aged out of the ADHD waiting list, and in the end (thanks to an inheritance) we were able to get a private diagnosis. He started meds (on private prescription) 14 days ago. The difference is astonishing. If only we could have accessed this sooner.
