A flat-out refusal of a request for permission to start a new job however, happens “very rarely!”.

This analysis of von der Leyen's isolation and authoritarianism, its impact on the chaotic and incoherent performance of the Commission, and the dangerous games the EPP is playing very much matches what I see here in Brussels.
